As an Architectural Technician, you can be a part of the team that designs and develops the buildings that improve our surroundings using sustainable building methods. If you have an interest in design and an aptitude for math and computer-aided studies, then Georgian's Architectural Technician program will train you to become a vital link between the architect and the construction crew.

About the program

The Architectural Technician program is a two-year program. Students will gain an understanding of current architectural/construction environments including developing skills in architectural drafting and design as well as an understanding of the building design and construction process. Students learn about teamwork and project-based learning.

Careers

Graduates of the Architectural Technician program find employment in many areas of the building industry. They work as technical assistants in an architectural design or construction field offices, as draftspersons, sales representatives and technicians in building product manufacturing firms and government departments.
